A Contemplative Poem
While we busy ourselves
with all forms of consumption,
this world steadily consumes us-
Honor the sacred teaching:
“All that enters the fire
is transformed”
The fire of existence
catabolizes the ten thousand things
to their basic elements
Allow the crucible of awareness
to purify the dross
of past conditionings and illusions…
